Primary Responsibilities
Under
the general supervision of the Director of Stewardship for Health Sciences
Development (HSD), as the
Associate Director of Stewardship, you will play a key role in ensuring an
outstanding donor experience for many of HSD’s top donors. You will primarily manage complex
stewardship plans and special projects for HSD’s principal and major gift
donors. In this position, you will help develop and deliver strategies for
effective stewardship of donors and proactively seek opportunities for
developing new stewardship programs. As our Associate Director, you will be a
skilled project manager and content creator who will develop a wide range of
donor-driven materials and will have the ability to communicate about complex
science in a style that is understandable and exciting to a lay audience. You will be deadline-driven and able to
produce accurate and engaging materials quickly. You will collaborate with a
diverse group of internal constituents, which may include faculty, executive
staff, directors, alumni relations staff and donor relations staff, to
facilitate the appropriate stewardship activities. In addition, as the
Associate Director will serve as an HSD contact for principal and major gift
donors that require help to resolve problems, questions and concerns. As a
