“At UCLA I am able to make a positive impact every day.”

"At UCLA, I have built a rewarding career and am able to make a positive impact every day. I feel destined to work here; my dad was a university professor, and I grew up on a college campus. My career as a development officer began while I was still a student working on special events for the university's office of the president. After I earned my bachelor's degree, I spent 12 years fundraising for arts institutions. Then, I found my way to UCLA—first as a regional development director, later at the law school and now as the Senior Director of Development for Digestive Diseases. I love our donors; they're smart, engaged, interesting and passionate. Working with them on behalf of UCLA Health Sciences is extremely gratifying."
