“It feels good to be part of something
that has a positive impact on people throughout the community
and the world.”
Juan Torres
Biker, black belt trainee, problem-solver, Director of Prospect Relationship Management.
“I was born in Santiago, Chile and came to the United States with my parents and sister in 1976. UCLA has been part of my life since I was a kid. I attended Corrine A. Seeds University Elementary School. Then, I returned to UCLA to earn my bachelor’s degree in history. After graduation, I took a job with UCLA Prospect Management and have been here ever since. Thanks to a great boss and mentor who always taught me something new and kept the job interesting, I’ve been with UCLA for nine years, advancing from administrative assistant to director of prospect management. UCLA has always been a place of opportunity for me and I see myself here for a long time to come.”
